WordPress is a big platform for blogging, Now a days millions of websites are on the WordPress. For beginners most of the user's don't know how to install it manually on our own server. In this post I'll tell you that how to install wordpress on your own server. It is very easy to install wp on server.
Step 1 :
Download WordPress software from wordpress.org
Step 2:
login to your cpanel account.
Create a database and database user.
Click on Mysql Databases.
create new database.
Click on create database.
Add new user.
Add user to database.
Set All Privileges to user.
Step 3
Open file manager via Cpanel and upload WordPress to "public_html" folder or and other folder where you want to install wordpress. If you want to install WordPress in folder blog then you upload downloaded wordpress in "public_html/blog".
After uploading extract it and move all file to root folder where you want to install WordPress.
Step 4
Open your website where you upload wordpress software.
Create a configuration file.
Insert database detail to next step.
Type database name, database username, database user password, your server host, mostly localhost.
Table prefix,
Note: Please change Table prefix name to your own choice like imran_, cool_ or any other you want. Don't use default wp_ table prefix.
In next step you need to enter your site detail.
Enter your site detail and press "Install WordPress".
You are Done :)
